oh, and a last moment edit: Someone on the UK version site complained about the ECalendar block issuing an error what Lonestar claimed was a "Wrong version of PHP" was actually the persons PHP simply did not use PHP compiled with the Calendar Library.

The fast solution is to manually add the function into functions.php

PHP:  [ Select all ]

if(!function_exists('cal_days_in_month')){

   function cal_days_in_month($month$year){

       return ($month == ? ($year 28 : ($year 100 29 : ($year 400 28 29))) : (($month 1) % 30 31));

   }

However due to the nature of how often the default Cal Library is not used, it would probably be better to just add the math formula directly to the block since there is no real reason to add additional functions to the CMS simply because of a single block:

PHP:  [ Select all ]

$num_days = ($month == ? ($year 28 : ($year 100 29 : ($year 400 28 29))) : (($month 1) % 30 31));

Either option solves a library dependency for one simple poorly written block. The second option solves dependency issues, as well as removes the need to add additional function registers to an already bloated system.

Best of luck to you guys!

mysqlslap is used for accurate loadtime testing with mariadb, MySQL is extrmemly slow and I'm not sure LOnestar even know how to use it. My load time is still faster than his and I might add that is with test tjemes that are not optimized or using any short hand code in anyway whatsoever. When the main the is finalized it is quitelikely to load much much faster. We are not working on the theme we are working on re-writing all the code and porting it to PHP 8

I find it strange that a Nuke Developer ( lonestar ) claiming to be supporting Nuke by maintaining it is so wildly upset that another nuke developer ( EB ) does the same thing. Anyways I realize the UK version forums are locked up without registration, so I'll post the screenshots.

[ I don't know why the image embedding is not working ]

There is another topic on their forums "What we are talking about" where Lonestar has admitted to taking from other developers. I am completely confused at why anyone cares about what people do on a platform that is on its last legs. However, EB, I wish you the best of luck, and congratulations on producing an Evo Platform that is generating pages faster than their main website. I don't think Lonestar likes the competition, Hell, I don't even like Nuke but I love watching an old guy ( you are only a few years older than me ) humiliate a Kid with a bad attitude. Congratulations to your achievement of fixing the header cache to actually work when not even the original functioned properly!

I absolutely hate Nuke distro, but if there is ever anything I can do for you in the future, please give a holler!
Regards, Robert

Lets start off with "Currently" which is broken eitehr in the template or in the code. It does not refelect shit! Lets also talk about the fact that by converting the member list to a module, which was not necessary under any scope or realm unless maybe you wanted to keep their curently online attributes accurate and you intended to add said code to do so.

I'm pretty sure it is not reflecting thier last visit accurately as well. What if the person visits the website but they never browse the forums? How would the session data used to calculate their last visit be accurate? I'm pretty sure that while I am typing this my session is still in tact but because of the way it is being looked at in the code, if you looked me up right now in the user list, I would appear offline even if the code still had a sack on it and was working.

The Member_List module will never reflect if a person is currently online or offline accurately because the code uses the session data from the forums area. They could be on the website doing something else and it would not reflect that they are online until they have visited the forums area.

Wrap your head around this shit! If you are looking up a user there is a 100% chance it is to send them a private message but it appears as if some dipshit removed that icon from the displayed search list. Let's not rob the users of conveince just because we are overwelmed with ignorance or not thinking ahead. I know you could not have had anything to with this Ernest as I know you have an enormous brain on you like Brad from Pulp Fiction.

Also, as easy as it is or has always been, why is there not an avatar in front of the user name? I mean that is thier profile pic correct?

Maybe add the pm button and web address button back to the printed list so that our users will not always have to click on the users name to achieve what they setout to do.

This is just a generic error, there is nothing really wrong in the code. This message is because you did not have anyone assigned to the Moderator group.
If you try to add permissions to a group that does not have anyone in it you will get this error and this happens sometimes on a new install.

I added a line to the error so it is more clear in the future.

The error message will now say "Please add someone to this group, we could not obtain moderator status"

You can't assign permissions to a group that does not have anyone in it yet.

Simple fix, add the person you trust as a moderator to the moderator group and then set the group permissions.

Peace Out,
Ernie B

It does not look like it is writing information to my sitemap.xml file for forum posts. Is there something I can enable to get this to work?

I am new at this but I think it is suppose to write info for each post to the xml file.

I know this is still in development so maybe this feature has not been added yet.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Shakey

There are quite a few things that still have yet to be added. It should be in the next release or you can download the nightly build tomorrow and I will try to get it added in for you.

PostForum: Google-Site-Map Posted: Sun May 09, 2021 10:15 am Subject: Google Site Map Generator is now in development status.
Module Name: Google-Site-Map
Author: Ernest Buffington
Version: v1.0
Core: PHP-Nuke Evolution Xtreme v3.0.1a <> v3.0.1b

The original sitemap was an abandoned project and idea, not by me but whoever was working on it originally. The new one is awesome and works great. I'm not sure people really understand how important this little module is. Contrary to popular belief, this is an important part of being found on the internet. The class.sitemap.php file can be found in the includes/classes directory.

I used some of the old code, not much just a few lines here and there, and the old sitemap's admin panel is the same.

This uses sitemap 0.9

The new Google Site Map Generator works better than just about anything I have seen. You will need to delete the old sitemap.xml file that is in the root directory of your portal/website as it is no longer used. The new sitemap.xml file is generated in the xmls/sitemap folder. This is not the file you tell google to look at.

You will need to point Google to your sitemap-index.xml file which resides in that very same directory.

You will do this by telling Google where the file is at like so https://yourwebsite.com/xmls/sitemap/sitemap-index.xml

You can do so by going here https://search.google.com/search-console?resource_id=sc-domain:yourdomain.com

I used a fast and lightweight class for generating Google-Site-Map XML files and index of sitemap files. Written in PHP and uses XMLWriter extension (wrapper for libxml xmlWriter API) for creating XML files. XMLWriter extension is enabled by default in PHP 5.1.2 and up. If you have more than 50000 URLs, it will split items into separated files. (In benchmarks, 1.000.000 URLs were generating in 8 seconds) The version we are using is a slightly modified version of the original.

The Sitemap class is now added to a SitemapPHP namespace.

Module Name: Link Us
Original Author: DarkForgeGFX
Contributor(s): TheGhost and AlphaClient
Version: v1.0.0
Core: PHP-Nuke Evolution Xtreme v2.0.9d <> 3.0.1b
Description: To show and administrate several methods of backlinks to your website/portal.

I updated the display on the Link_Us index page. It needed to be displayed properly, which may just be a matter of opinion however I'm OCD and I could not take it any longer. I went ahead and took the time to lay out the table and add a fieldset to the default image section. I have not added any other size link back images so I have no idea what those will end up looking like. In that event, I am sure I will log in and re-write those areas as well. This website has only the standard default link back image sizes in use, so I will wait until I have to cross that bridge to fix it.

I modified the index.php file located in the "modules/Link_Us/public" directory.

This module was written some years ago and as of now I will be updating the cosmetics of the module and maybe, possibly adding some new features. So far I changed the layout of the buttons. When you click View All Buttons you will see that I changed the way the button layout is and added a fieldset as well as added some bootstrap bling to make it look better.

The US version of PHP-Nuke Evolution Xtreme CMS is not compatible with the UK version as far as themes go, however it does support modules and blocks from the UK version. What exactly is Xtreme? It is an open-source CMS wrote in PHP as a programming language and development was first started in 2005. The software comes with a set of basic features like a WYSIWYG editor, an admin interface with drag and drop blocks, spam protection, and image processing. Nuke Evolution-Xtreme CMS comes with the ability to use various modules that will extend the current functionality of your portal/website. The latest version available for download is 3.0.1b and is still in beta.

PHP-Nuke Evolution Xtreme now comes with v5 of the Titanium Facebook SDK kit. It's already set up. All you have to do is add your app ID and secret... If you need help, we would be glad to set it up for FREE.

PHP-Nuke Evolution Xtreme now comes with v5 of the Titanium Google SDK. Everything you need to be a Google developer is already there, just have a look inside your includes directory.
